I was pleased to see that my artwork shares the pages with the work of colleague and blog friend Katharine Cartwright. Her “Laws of Nature” series of paintings are stunning. Congratulations.

What I found particularly interesting about the Editor’s selection of my work is that she chose early works as well as the most recent. Its like a mini retrospective.

I thought I’d include “Butterfly Duet”, one of my early works done in colored pencil. I like the design and I like the mental image of two butterflies gracefully dancing around each other as they flutter by in the air.
